FetHead Germaniumis high quality in-line microphone preamplifier. It provides a punchy and direct, ‘larger than life’ germanium sound for dynamic and ribbon microphones. Sounding full and rich it is reminiscent of much higher priced vintage gear, making FetHead Ge’s desirable coloration a really great addition to (interface) preamps which sound rather neutral. Our FetHead Germaniumutilizes tried and true FET technology combined with a hand selected “New Old Stock” Germanium transistor to deliver 29dB’s of germanium flavored boost.

Germanium Flavor
Germanium transistors were widely used in earliest transistor designs by Neve, EMI, Telefunken, and Fairchild, and have developed a reputation for a decidedly vintage mojo that remains sought after today.
We created a novel hybrid circuit that consists of low noise JFETs and a hand-selected ‘new old stock’ germanium transistor to take full advantage of the “Germanium” sound and at the same time achieve the same sonic quality we are known for. A low impedance output buffer provides output drive to long cables.
Operation
Your Fethead Germanium will latch straight onto any XLR equipped microphone, or anywhere else in the signal path between microphone and preamp/mixer. The electronics are housed in a robust metal chassis with a balanced female XLR input and a balanced male XLR output, rugged enough for use at home, in the studio or on tour.
Protects the microphone
Some older ribbon microphones do not tolerate phantom power. Fethead uses phantom power to power its circuitry, but doesn’t pass phantom power to the microphone, so rest assured your ribbon mics are safe.

Ultimate Response. No Limitations.
Drummers demand two things above all else, whether they’re playing electronic drums or acoustic drums: They want their drums to respond precisely and sound great. That’s exactly what the Alesis Strike Kit gives you. It combines the feel and familiarity of acoustic drums combined with the versatility and capability of the best electronic drums. These are the perfect drums to move beyond the limitations of a conventional acoustic set, without giving anything up.
Multiple Contact Points and Dynamic Mesh Heads
With Alesis’ exclusive multiple contact points, drummers are assured of optimized response and playability. Conventional electronic drums have only a single sensor, restricting their response and limiting the drummer’s spontaneity and creativity. Our patented multiple-sensor design evenly distributes sensitivity across the entire drum head to avoid the “hot spots” of single-sensor electronic drums.
Adjust the Sensitivity at the Source, Right on the Drum!
Need to adjust the playing response of your drums, right now, in the middle of the gig? Patented Alesis technology comes to your rescue again! Our adjustment knob is right on the drum, so you can fine-tune the drum’s response on the fly, in the moment. Increase the sensitivity for loud environments, when you want maximum output from your hits. Need a more easily-controllable sound output for quieter, more subtle settings? Just decrease the sensitivity. With our exclusive multiple sensors, only Alesis gives you this degree of control.

The Behringer C-1 microphone is a home recording enthusiast’s dream come true! This professional-quality condenser microphone is designed to capture your sounds with incredible realism, sensitivity and accuracy. With the C-1’s outstanding cardioid pickup pattern for excellent sound source separation and feedback rejection, these ultra-low noise mics are an excellent choice for any recording scenario – and rugged enough to go the distance! With a handy swivel stand mount included in the sleek transport case, the C-1 just may be the only microphone your studio will need.
What is a Condenser Mic?
Condenser microphones are the ideal choice for capturing vocals and acoustic instruments. They’re the primary type of microphone used in recording studios and radio stations. Behringer C-1 mics are capable of capturing much more detail than most dynamic microphones because of their wider, flatter frequency response. Another difference between condenser and dynamic mics is they contain active circuitry that requires phantom power (+48 V) for operation. You can power your C-1 using any phantom power equipped BEHRINGER XENYX mixer, plus enjoy the benefits of our state-of-the-art XENYX mic preamps.
Why the C-1?
Behringer C-1 microphone is an affordable, high-quality way to get what you really hear down on tape (or in bits). Thanks to the pressure gradient transducer and shock-mounted large diaphragm capsule, the C-1 delivers an open, transparent sound with excellent transient response. Featuring a superb cardioid (heart-shaped) pickup pattern, the C-1 picks up your source signal, while rejecting off-axis sounds that can ruin an otherwise perfect recording. The C-1 truly delivers on the promise of noise-free transmission, with the utmost transparency – and features an LED that shows you when the mic is receiving phantom power, taking the guesswork out of the equation.
But That’s Not All…
The Behringer C-1 microphone is designed to be your go-to condenser mics for many years to come. The tough, die-cast metal body can withstand all the rigors of those late-night recording marathons – and the included carrying case ensures they always travel in safety and style. The studio-grade C-1 condenser microphone is an excellent choice for both live and studio applications, and available at a price that will leave you with enough cash left over to secure other recording essentials. Check out the incredible C-1 at a dealer near you.
Fool-proof USB installation: plug-and-play USB Microphone on Mac, Windows and PS4.
Compact size will not block your face during streaming. Get rid of bulky plastic headset.
All-metal body enhances professional feeling and even protects the mic from drop damage.
Cardioid pattern reduces irritating fan or keyboard noise for crystal clear communication.
