The new Vibe Slick CBR (SLICKCBR12-V7) enclosure takes the radical approach of removing the integrated amplifier and replacing it with a separate unit, this gives several advantages. The enclosure design can now be focused only on the volume needed for the woofer rather than losing space to an internal power source. Using a separate amplifier means that sound quality is at the forefront. Vibe has developed an inline Powerbox Micro amplifier and ISOAWK kit (available separately) that can be purchased with the enclosure to make it compatible with an ISO T harness to plug into the existing stereo loom in the vehicle. this supplies audio signal and power and earth meaning there is no need to connect a separate cable through to the vehicles battery, just plug and play.
