Which microphones benefit FetHead Phantom is specially designed for condenser microphones. It works very well with all condenser microphones. FetHead Phantom is also an indispensable tool for mobile recording and a real upgrade for camera microphone preamps, because it lowers the noise floor. Operation Your Fethead Phantom will latch straight onto any XLR equipped microphone, or anywhere else in the signal path between microphone and preamp/mixer. The electronics are housed in a robust metal chassis with a balanced female XLR input and a balanced male XLR output, rugged enough for use at home, in the studio or on tour. Phantom power distribution FetHead's Phantom circuit uses 48V phantom power but also passes it on from its input to the microphone. Your condenser mic is powered with the same phantom power. The Pioneer DJ DDJ-1000 controller is designed from the ground up to give you comprehensive control over rekordbox DJ software. It has everything you need to perform at events and parties, including two full-size jog wheels with On Jog Display, 14 Beat FX, and 16 multicolored performance pads. Using rekordbox DJ software's Related Tracks feature, you'll quickly be able to find tracks that flow well with the tune you're currently playing. Compact and portable, the Pioneer DJ DDJ-1000 controller combined with rekordbox DJ software is a sweet setup for mobile DJs.
Based on Pioneer's NXS2 systems
If you've ever gotten your hands on Pioneer DJ's CDJ-2000NXS2 or DJM-900NXS2 systems, you'll feel right at home with the DDJ-1000 controller. Its buttons and knobs are based on the same layout as the NXS2 systems — using the DDJ-1000 is the same as using an NXS2 setup to control music from an external USB drive.
Updated Magvel crossfader
DJs at Sweetwater love the feel of the Magvel crossfader, based on the Magvel Fader Pro from the DJM-S9 pro battle mixer. Pioneer DJ has updated the Magvel fader for the DDJ-1000, to offer even more durability and nuanced control. Also, the software processing for jog wheel and crossfader operation has been refined for greatly reduced latency, creating a faster and more intuitive feel than ever.
Multiple inputs/outputs for seamless DJ changeovers
DJs using rekordbox DJ software can hand off to each other faster and smoother with the DDJ-1000 controller. Two USB ports allow two DJs to connect their laptops simultaneously. Four analog inputs accommodate turntables, and there are two mic inputs as well. The DDJ-1000 can even operate as a standalone DJ mixer without connecting a laptop at all.

Flexible performance options
Play rekordbox-analyzed music from USB drives via Export mode. Connect a laptop with USB-HID control to use Link Export or use Performance mode for free. Or connect your iPhone to the CDJ-3000 via a USB cable with a Lightning to USB3 Camera Adapter (sold separately) and mix from rekordbox for iOS.
Pro DJ Link with enhanced lighting support
Sync your sounds with lights thanks to compatibility with the new Pro DJ Link Lighting feature. The CDJ-3000 sends phrase analysis information to rekordbox (PC/Mac) so you can control lighting effects via the RB-DMX1 (available separately) and take your show to the next level.

Our FetHead Germanium utilizes tried and true FET technology combined with a hand selected “New Old Stock” Germanium transistor to deliver 29dB's of germanium flavored boost. Germanium Flavor Germanium transistors were widely used in earliest transistor designs by Neve, EMI, Telefunken, and Fairchild, and have developed a reputation for a decidedly vintage mojo that remains sought after today. We created a novel hybrid circuit that consists of low noise JFETs and a hand-selected ‘new old stock’ germanium transistor to take full advantage of the "Germanium" sound and at the same time achieve the same sonic quality we are known for. A low impedance output buffer provides output drive to long cables. Operation Your Fethead Germanium will latch straight onto any XLR equipped microphone, or anywhere else in the signal path between microphone and preamp/mixer. The electronics are housed in a robust metal chassis with a balanced female XLR input and a balanced male XLR output, rugged enough for use at home, in the studio or on tour. Protects the microphone Some older ribbon microphones do not tolerate phantom power. Fethead uses phantom power to power its circuitry, but doesn’t pass phantom power to the microphone, so rest assured your ribbon mics are safe. |
